Kim Kardashian Wedding Workout and Diet

To prepare for her recent wedding, Kim Kardashian kicked it into high gear to get her body in optimal shape for her wedding. Regardless of her recent nuptials, Kim Kardashian has one of Hollywood’s most well-known and sought after female physiques, especially those who are looking for that curvy, yet slim and feminine look. People are very familiar on Kim Kardashian’s figure nowadays, but only few individuals really knew how she keeps it in top form. Even though she gets her fair share of negative press, most ladies will probably admit that her figure is something they envy, and most guys would agree that she looks sexy as hell with the figure she maintains. Hard work coupled with discipline, has earned her that gold-standard body, and has in part made her career a successful one.

After an exhaustive research, we discovered that there are few things she always include in her workout that can be done by many individuals too. Those things are within reach of the masses, and can do a lot to address weight problems. We do not promise that you will achieve a body like hers, but most probably you will gain good benefit from it.

Kim’s Diet and Exercise Principles

1.    A low carbohydrate diet – a bulk of our daily calories comes from eating carbohydrates, and most of the time it comes from junk food; poor-nutrient starchy foodstuffs full of fat and salt. Most processed foods today contain mostly carbohydrates and because it forms a huge chunk in daily diet, it contributes a lot of empty calories that tends to promote obesity. People should learn to identify and reduce carbohydrate intake as much as possible, and carb sources should come from fruits and vegetables, not grains, refined sugars or starches. Common modern carb sources include grains, almost any kind of chips and bread and pasta. Low GI carbs are better choices than high GI ones, to prevent spikes in insulin and blood sugar.

2.    Crossfit/ Boot camp style workout – Kim Kardashian is a big fan of Crossfit-style workouts, and for good reason. They are high-intensity workouts that exercise nearly all muscles in the body (including the diaphragm) and burn a great deal of calories per minute. A normal Crossfit-style workout will include a combination of lifting, gymnastics, and monostructural cardio (i.e. running, rowing). Nowadays, Crossfit gyms (also known as boxes), are popping up more commonly. Check out your area and see which one is right for you.

3.    Avoiding deprivation – There are many pictures where Kim is spotted taking out fast food and soft drinks. Such occasions should be treated as treats. No one should undergo deprivation as it is counterproductive; it reinforces feelings of guilt that leads to bingeing, plus it promotes release of stress hormones that promotes fat formation. However, occasional treats should be controlled as well. Pick healthy fares as much as possible and continue to observe proper servings. Always eat in a relaxed manner and maintain poise.

4.    Never get off cardioConsistent cardio pays off, and we can see it so in Kim Kardashian’s body. Since 2007, she always includes cardio in her workouts. Cardio is also known as aerobic exercise, which is designed to elevate heartbeat for long periods of time. As heartbeat rises, blood flow increases and adrenergic hormones (responsible for fight-or-flight response) are released to turn fat into energy for use of the body.
Doing cardio for a long time increases metabolism, circulation and makes body fat easy to burn. In time, the body readily responds to increased physical activity by turning fat quickly into energy.

5.    Intermittent Fasting – Kim Kardashian has been known to implement Eat Stop Eat methods into her low-carb lifestyle. Not only has Eat Stop Eat been shown to be incredibly effective, more and more celebrities and athletes are using these techniques to burn blubber and maintain lean mass.

    Craig,

Nice review of Kim’s lifestyle tips. I follow many of these, myself. Anyone who incorporates intense full-body resistance training, ample cardio, a low-carb diet, and intermittent fasting should have no trouble burning fat.

P.S. The new blog design looks awesome!
