Megan Fox’s Workout and Diet for Transformers 2
If there is one actress at the moment who most women would like to have a body like, it is Megan Fox. What’s great about this is it is something that every woman can obtain! Megan Fox is quite young but she is not born with any kind of genetics that make her body outside the reach of ‘normal’ women. There are certain things she does to remain in such good shape, of which the following will discuss.
Here’s a quote you’ll probably find interesting:
“I’m very lazy. I hire a personal trainer who is supposed to come three times a week. He comes to me – I don’t even have to leave the house. He’ll come to my house and I’ll be lying in the exact same spot he left me in. I’ll be like: ‘Not today! Not today!’ So, for me to do these scenes [in Transformers] was hard but fun.”
Many would label Megan Fox as ‘the hottest woman alive’. What’s great about it is the way she stays in such good shape is quite simple, and she is hardly a fitness freak. To prepare for the Transformers sequel she had a steady workout routine that consisted of high intensive interval training, steady state cardio and she would then focus on her abs and hit them hard for 15-20 minutes.
Let’s look at the principles used behind Megan Fox’s Workouts:
Body weight Interval Circuits: The “Spartacus Workout” is also amazingly effective for females who are aiming for a Megan Fox type figure. Check out the workout routine here. Other plyometric exercises she used included different variations of pushups. Check out some of them here with video demos.
Planks: Without a doubt, planks are by far the best move for women to get flat abs and a super slim waist (22 inches) like Megan. Crunches are over rated and can actually be detrimental to the way your abdominals look!
A Brief Ab Circuit: After warming up with this plank routine, she would then perform 15-20 minutes on an ab based circuit that included Captain Chair leg ups, V-Ups, and Swiss ball leg raises, performed interval-style – hard effort with minimal rest between exercises. By super-setting exercises in this manner, the heart rate stays up, conditioning is enhanced, and it creates a much more effective workout.
Stationary Bike: By now, her heart was pumping. To take advantage of this, she would perform a half hour of steady state cycling on the stationary bike at a low level of intensity. (Following intervals with low intensity cardio is extremely effective for burning body fat as fuel).

Megan Fox’s Diet
There isn’t much to these routines. It is simply a mixture of Paleo Diet and reducing calories. Lets look at Paleo. This is great for burning fat because reducing refined sugars and grains helps regulate insulin within the body and keeps your body burning fat. There are a number of celebrities who use Paleo, such as Matthew McConaughey, Megan Fox and Paul Walker. If I were to ask you one thing these actors have in common, what would you think of? Their stunning bodies no doubt.
Paleo pretty much consists of eating lean protein and plenty of vegetables. Sugars are cut out of the diet and so are refined foods. You do not only look better physically thanks to this type of diet, but are healthier throughout. You could also copy Megan Fox and create a calorie deficit in your body in order to slim down slightly and look amazing.
Eggs are a mainstay of what Megan Fox eats for breakfast. She will also eat plenty of almonds in order to stop that feeling of hunger. Along with supplying healthy fats and being great for hunger, almonds are a great source of vitamin E which will help increase the effectiveness of your ab and cardio workouts.
These are all things that anybody can do, the average woman with enough motivation can look like Megan Fox. It will take some hard work when it comes to your workouts and diet, but if you want to look good you have to work for it.
